A private check confirms a connection to a real restaurant — or a restaurant being built. Public contributions stay anonymous.

Used only for verification. Never shown publicly. A matching restaurant website domain can help verify active restaurants.

Search Google Places and select the restaurant. Required for open restaurants; optional during planning or build-out.

How anonymity works

  • Verification details remain private.
  • Names, emails, and restaurant-to-person links are not published.
  • Verification is not an endorsement of a restaurant.
  • Pre-opening applicants receive provisional status after email confirmation.

Verification is manual. Public field notes remain anonymous by design.
